The coastal people of Bangladesh have been living a life of struggle and hardship since the birth of this great nation. Looking into the growing concern, a small group of dedicated people came up with a plan to support the fishing community with fishing boats. Later, they formed an organization aligning the motto with their work’ Journey With The Coastal Struggle’. Since then, with the help of development partners, CODEC has implemented more than 160 development projects in the coastal region of Bangladesh to improve lives, livelihood, education, health, and nutrition and create a positive stamp on the climate change issue. Our promise to improve the lives of the coastal community has been firm and will continue to do that in the future along with serving the other hard-to-reach communities of the country. On this momentous day, we express our greetings and admire all the development partners, well-wishers, and colleagues on behalf of CODEC’s 37th Anniversary on October 1, 2022.
